CON-768
Description: The Delta Controls CON-768 converts RS-232 signals to RS-485 signals. It is powered when connected to the Service Port (RJ-11 connector) of a Delta Controller. The Service Port is built onto most of Delta’s controllers, including the BACstat II and Application Controllers.
The CON-768 automatically detects the BACnet™ MS/TP bps rate when connecting to a Delta BACnet MS/TP network. The RS-232 side of the converter is automatically configured by the ORCAview Operator Workstation (OWS) port settings for easy plug and play operation.
Features:
- Powered by the service port, removing the need for separate power supplies
- Can be used with any BACnet MS/TP network
- Uses Autobaud, removing the need for any special configuration software or manual adjustment
- Comes complete with 6 foot communication cable
Application: The CON-768 allows service personnel or building operators to connect directly to a BACnet MS/TP network through their PC or Laptop RS-232 serial port. Once connected the users have access to the entire network of controllers.
The CON-768 can also be used when flashloading Delta’s BACnet MS/TP controllers to a new version of firmware.
