RPT-768
Description: The Delta Controls RPT-768 is an intelligent RS-485 BACnet MS/TP network repeater. It is used to extend a BACnet MS/TP network and to provide isolation. The RPT-768 can be powered by two independent power sources to achieve maximum isolation. The RPT-768 uses an 8-bit processor to optimize the network signal and to provide autobaud capabilities.
Features:
- Provides up to 500 Volts of isolation when both sides of the repeater are powered by separate transformers
- Comes with a service port on NET IN so that the network can be accessed from the repeaters location
- Can be used with any BACnet MS/TP network (meets BACnet MS/TP router specifications)
- Uses Autobaud, removing the need for any special configuration software or manual adjustment
- Has manual baud adjustment for use with non-Delta RS-485 network
Application: The Delta Controls RPT-768 extends an RS-485 network so that additional devices or cable length can be added. The RPT-768 uses Delta’s MS/TP autobaud feature to automatically sense and match the repeaters timing to the network timing. No manual configuration is required.
