CON-768BT
Description: The CON-768BT provides a temporary connection between a MS/TP BACnet network and an ORCAview workstation over a secure wireless Bluetooth link. The CON-768BT plugs into the service port found on most Delta controllers and thermostats, allowing a laptop to be located up to 33 feet (10 metres) from the controller.
Features:
- Wireless communication of up to 33 feet (10 metres) line of sight
- Bluetooth version 2.0 provides authentication and encryption with wireless link speeds of up to 3Mbps
- Powered by the service port, removing the need for separate power supplies
- Status LED can indicate problems on the MS/TP network
- Autobaud on the MS/TP connection simplifies setup
- CON-768BT firmware is upgradable in the field
- Comes with a 16-inch communication cable and a loop strap for hanging
Application: The CON-768BT allows service personnel or building operators to wirelessly connect to a BACnet MS/TP network. Once connected, an entire network of controllers can be viewed and then modified in ORCAview.
The CON-768BT flash loads new firmware on individual controllers or on multiple controllers over the BACnet network via Flash Loader and System Loader software.
The CON-768BT allows for wireless commissioning and troubleshooting without being directly connected to a controller or thermostat.
