Job Title: Access Integration Systems Specialist

Summary:  We have an opening for an Access Integration Systems Specialist within our Customer Solutions Department. This individual is responsible for the support and training of Delta Controls Access products and peripherals. You will work closely with Customer Solutions, Sales, Product Development and Marketing to ensure that the Access Line is supported and further developed.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting Access Control, CCTV/DRV products, and peripherals.
• Technical Support of our Partnership World Wide phone and email.
• Sales Support of our Partnership world wide phone and email.
• Maintaining peripherals for this area.
• Help with selection and approval of peripherals including evaluation of the products.
• Supporting development by writing Knowledge based articles, documentation, etc.
• Providing integration level advice and support to partnership. This may involve helping develop solutions (e.g. ODBC).
• Aid in the development of training programs for this area.
• Provide training to internal staff and distributors.
• Aid at trade shows for Delta Controls as a representative
• Assist the Development Team to identify and target areas of development by providing industry feedback.
• Training other Customer solutions personnel to further company knowledge in this area.

General qualifications:

• Technical diploma or equivalent education
• Have a minimum of 5 years experience in areas related to the Access Controls business.
  • Strong technical experience with a thorough understanding of the overall business dynamic within the access control industry.
  • Experience in Systems Integration
  • Good understanding of the Access Controls Market and its competitors
  • Good understanding of wiring practices (not actual wiring experience)
  • Understanding of the Security/Burglar market an asset.
• Good understanding of US Government security programs
• Industry Related Training
• Programming experience (ODBC, VB, etc)
• Strong understanding of general computer software
• Excellent communication skills mandatory.
• Work in a fast pace environment and deliver solutions in timely matter.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must be willing to learn and try new thing.
• Be able to obtain a Passport for international travel.
• No Criminal Record and Bondable
• Travel and International Travel < 20%
• Drivers License
