Construction Sales Engineer

General Description: Sale of HVAC control systems in the construction market. This position supports consulting engineers, mechanical and general contractors, and building owners.

Primary Duties: Prospecting for new construction and retrofit opportunities, developing detailed solutions including preliminary designs, cost estimates, technical and pricing proposals, and contracts.

Additional Duties: Customer education, consultation and presentations, marketing activities, participation in professional organizations, coordination within CCI, and ongoing involvement in projects to support customer satisfaction.

Required Skills: Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, critical and strategic thinking, goal-setting and management, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and ability to drive/travel.

Required Experience: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Building or Construction Sciences, with minimum 5+ years’ industry sales experience.
